“DISTANCE” is an exhibition by social artist Runa Kuranaka exploring how the illusions created by distance shape our emotional responses. Her new paintings trace the delicate movements between love and resentment, understanding and misunderstanding, revealing how emotion changes with perspective.

Shown alongside selected earlier works, the exhibition invites viewers to move between abstraction and clarity, noticing how meaning emerges as they draw closer.

The presentation also debuts Kuranaka’s first works incorporating AI technology, expanding her visual language and opening new ways of exploring connection across space
