In Fantasías de Picasso, TERÁN reimagines the legacies of Hokusai and Picasso through his vivid pop realism. Tradition and modernity collide in luminous color and bold gesture, crafting a contemporary vision that both honors and reinvents the past.

Galerie Geek/Art presents Fantasías de Picasso, a solo exhibition by Spain-based artist TERÁN. Supported by the Embassy of Spain in Japan, the exhibition pays tribute to two revolutionary figures—Katsushika Hokusai and Pablo Picasso—while asserting TERÁN’s own distinct artistic identity.
Through his signature style of pop realism, TERÁN fuses classical imagery with the aesthetics of contemporary pop, layering technical mastery with conceptual depth. His vibrant palette and dynamic strokes evoke the spirit of the great masters while remaining rooted in the immediacy of the present.
In blending cultures, eras, and sensibilities, TERÁN crafts a renewed perspective on timeless creativity, situating pop realism as both his contribution and a force within contemporary art.
