In FREEFORM, Takeru Iwazaki embraces the unpredictable rhythms of nature—where rivers meander, branches scatter, and folded paper becomes a meditation on harmony, chaos, and identity’s fluidity.

Galerie Geek/Art presents FREEFORM, a solo exhibition by Takeru Iwazaki and the first in the [ID]Identity series, which explores cultural interplay through artistic expression. Inspired by the organic flow of rivers, trees, and branching patterns, Iwazaki captures nature’s unpredictability while probing the tension between order and chaos. Working with origami, he paints paper freely before folding it into intricate forms transposed onto wooden panels. These folds embody the delicate dialogue between human intention and nature’s autonomy. FREEFORM offers a profound reflection on resilience, transformation, and the boundless freedom found in the natural and creative processes of identity.
